  • Natural Vitamin E is the active compounds derived from edible vegetable oils. It’s a class of natural compounds including both tocopherols and tocotrienols.

Compared to tocotrienols, tocopherols is more researched and studied, and α-tocopherols is the most biologically active form of vitamin E (and tocopherols). A product with higher content of α-tocopherols ordinary means higher activity of natural Vitamin E.

FanPharma’s natural Vitamin E are purified and standardized in tocopherols (or α-tocopherols).

    Typical Application of Vitamin E

There are natural and synthetic forms of vitamin E. In healthy products the most recommended is natural vitamin E (d-alpha-tocopherol) or natural mixed tocopherols. Some prefer mixed tocopherols because it most closely represents whole foods. The synthetic form is called dl-alpha-tocopherol.
Dosages are usually listed in international units (IU).

Most vitamin E supplements are fat-soluble. However, people who have trouble absorbing fat — such as those with pancreatic problems or cystic fibrosis — can take water-soluble E (TPGS, d-alpha-tocopheryl polyethylene glycol 1000 succinate).

Vitamin E is available in softgels, tablets, capsules, and topical oils products.
